Abby Choi is a 28 year old famous Chinese  model  who was living the life of many  people’s dreams. Coming from a wealthy family, a fashion icon, being friends  with wealthiest and top celebrities in China, having hundreds of thousands followers on Instagram but got killed by the people she trusted and financially supported for a long time. Abby  Choi’s ex-husband Alex and his father along with his elder brother  murdered her brutally with some other suspects.  

She reportedly went missing on  24 February 2023 and after 3 days her headless corpse was found. The reason behind her murder was financial problems between  Abby and her former ex-husband’s family. Abby was helping her ex husband ‘s family  for 6 years even after being divorced. She is a mother of 4 children and she has her first two babies with her ex-husband. So she felt responsibility  towards her ex-in-laws. Her current husband said that Abby was really a supportive and caring person to not only her current in-laws but also her ex in-laws. She respected  them. Her ex-husband’s family was unemployed so she bore their expenses for them. She was also very close with her ex brother-in-law Anthony. As he was also unemployed Abby appointed him as her driver and bear his expenses. In Anthony’s Instagram he posted many pictures with Abby at many parties  calling her sister. Abby also bought a luxury apartment  for her ex-in-laws. Her ex-in-laws and current in-laws traveled together and also had dinner together. Abby was so chill with her ex-in-laws. Abby Choi was not only bearing the expense of her ex-in-laws but also included them in her daily life.

From sources it was disclosed that her ex father-in-law who was 65 years old was a police chief quota who received long term service commendation from Hong Kong police. He was  accused by an unknown lady of Sa/R in 2000 and resigned after this. Abby Choi’s ex mother-in-law reportedly filed for bankruptcy in 2016. Also her ex brother-in-law was in so much debt and sued by the bank in 2019. Her ex husband was involved in a gold investment scam and scammed four people in 2015.

Reason behind Abby Choi’s murder 

It is kind of clear that Abby’s ex in-laws were bad at managing money so as a result they faced many financial problems. Abby, who bought a luxury apartment for her ex-in-laws and also named it after her ex-father- in law, decided to sell it. It causes chaos in her ex-in-laws’ family and they thought if Abby sold that apartment they had to live on the street. They thought as Abby named the apartment as her ex-in-laws name it was a gift from her. So they threatened to kill her if she didn’t manage another apartment for them. But Abby didn’t like the thought of them as she was thinking why she should arrange an apartment for her ex-in-laws. For her she wanted them to be independent. But it seemed that her ex-in-laws were jealous of her success as well as her money and assets.  Police suspected that Abby’s ex father-in-law who was a former police chief was the mastermind behind this murder as he knew Abby was not legally married to her current husband so all of her assets  and money will go under the name of her children. He somehow gathered all his family members  to execute his plan. He first rented a villa in Longwei village which was not so far from the city. They were planning  to execute their plot in this villa. Their neighbors said that they saw Abby’s father come into the villa a couple of times and  observe the surroundings.  On 21 February  Anthony  who was Abby choi’s ex brother-in-law as well as her driver picked her up from work and police guessing that he was the one who struck Abby on the head and put her in to coma and took her to the villa which was rented by them.A hole was found in Abby’s right  skull. It is still unknown to police the exact timeline of the murder and they are investigating this. The neighbors said that they heard screams of a woman for a couple hours. They dismember Abby’s body into several lumps. Most of her body pieces were found in the refrigerator inside the villa  and her head was found in a soup Steel pot. Police arrested Abby Choi’s ex-in-laws along with her ex-husband and brother-in-law.

Abby Choi was a rising Influencer and a model but because of this cruel world she has to leave us. Rest in peace Abby Choi.
