*Salary Range Monthly: BDT 140,000 – BDT 200,000

*Job Type: Full-time & Remote (but Dhaka based Candidate will get preference since there will be monthly upfront sprint retrospective meetings with team)
*Working Hour: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
*Working Days: Sun – Thurs
*Holidays: Following Bangladeshi Holiday Calendar
*Probation Period: 6 Months
*Yearly Paid Leave: 14 Days (Applicable after probation period)
*Salary Review: Yearly (After probation period salary can be reviewed if performance is top notch)

We need true software engineers with deep expertise and experience in backend development primarily in Laravel.

*What You’re Responsible For:

● Writing code for primary application.
● Preparing application for live environment.
● Unit-Testing and End-to-End testing of code.
● Git – Merging code, resolve conflicts and pushing to development servers
● Determine time estimates to complete tasks.
● Documenting technical specifications.
● Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
● Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
● Work with the CTO to develop specifications
● Write the application according to specifications.
● Coordinating with designers, administrators, project managers and other programmers.
● Ability to work independently and work with other team members to ensure on-time quality delivery of applications.
● Prioritizing tasks and daily activities.
● Delegate tasks to other team members
● Training team members on the technology stack we will be using
● Daily stand-up meetings to review current progress and obstacles with direct team.
● Weekly meetings to review with the entire technology team.

*Skills and Qualifications:
● 6-7 years of PHP or Laravel and MySQL/PostgresSQL development experience includung team lead position.
● Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
● Excellence in programming, debugging, and implementation skills.
● Deep understanding of database design and query optimization.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
● Expertise in plain vanilla PHP.
● Working experience in PHP frameworks specifically Laravel.
● Strong knowledge of the common PHP, MySQL or web server exploits and their solutions.
● Knowledge and experience in Object Oriented Programming would be an advantage.
● Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
● User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
● Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
● Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
● Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
● Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

*Experience with and working knowledge of:
● Agile/Scrum software development process.
● Linux environment.
● CMS Platforms and plugins.
● Version Control Software. (Git).
● Web service / API development and consumption (REST and/or SOAP).
● AJAX and CORS
● JSON and XML

*Added advantage if knows the following:*
● Docker and Docker Compose: have worked with and have setup development environment for with it
● Laravel Sail
● Messaging / Queue systems: Rabbit MQ, Kafka etc. how to architect solutions
● Caching systems/architecture: Redis, Memcache etc. how to architect solutions
